I want to speak directly and honestly to the Hemis community about status of the project.

Over the last six months, and especially the last three, I’ve been completely absent from the project. This was due to a series of deeply personal events: both of my parents’ previously diagnosed conditions progressed rapidly and unexpectedly, my wife faced a serious health issue, and my own mental health collapsed after a long period of sustained work stress.

I’m now back, in great shape, and fully committed to the future of Hemis and PTX.

Let’s be honest—things haven’t gone to plan. With both myself and Fabian (The Exiled Monk) offline, our usual chain of command broke down. Fabian has now officially stepped down from the project due to his own personal challenges. We’re grateful for everything he contributed and wish him the best in whatever comes next. I hope Fabian will rejoin the project when he has the capacity to do so.

During my absence, Hypermist, Tafkat, Paul J and AKcryptoguy quietly stepped up during the turbulence and helped keep the core intact. They’ve earned my respect and my thanks.

Right now, I’m taking a few days for a quick sanity check and full regroup, to catch up with the team, review where we stand, and recruit a replacement for Fabian. Once that’s done, it’s off to the races. The mission hasn’t changed. PTX is still a unique vision and it must be built.

Thanks for sticking with us. I will be giving more clarity on the future of Hemis over the coming days.

Lastly, a note of support for anyone with care responsibilities—whether you’re looking after someone with Alzheimer’s, mesothelioma, reproductive health challenges, or any other life-impacting condition. The work you do, often unseen, is heavy and vital. You have my respect, and you are not alone.
