This roadmap focuses on generating excitement around Hemis while gradually delivering the new PTX functionality. It assumes a small engineering team, limited resources, and leverages partnerships and community engagement to amplify reach

Unique selling points to emphasise

  • Consensus‑level randomness: Unlike smart‑contract platforms that depend on oracles or commit–reveal schemes, Hemis produces randomness via its Gamemaster VRF network.
  • One‑click play: Players send one transaction and see the result after one block, similar to Satoshi Dice but without trusting an operator.
  • No smart contracts: Games run directly in the core protocol; there’s no gas fee complexity or contract risk.
  • NFT registry and transfer: Hemis will allow NFTs to be registered natively and wagered in PTX games. NFTs will be used to faciliate the concepts of game cards, collectibles and game pieces.
  • Community governance: Gamemasters are governed by a DAO; house edges and fee structures can be voted upon.

Month‑by‑month plan

August 2025 – Kick‑off & education
  • Technical: Release the PTX specification; hold internal design meetings.
  • Marketing: release blog posts outlining PTX design principles and explaining how the design has changed from the early prototypes. Host an AMA to discuss the vision. Launch a meme contest; winners receive small HMS airdrops.
September 2025 – Partnerships & VRF prototype
  • Technical: Demonstrate VRF output storage in block headers in a testnet and expose an API to query it. Build a non p2p CLI tool that demonstrates coin flips using VRF.
  • Marketing: Regain momentum on Twitter, look for first development partnership.
October 2025 – PTX Design deep‑dive
  • Technical: code the `CProbabilisticTransaction` structures and publish a test suite. Start working on wallet and RPC functions for building PTXs.
  • Marketing: publish a blog series “Building Trustless Games at Layer 1” that walks through the design, referencing the weaknesses of commit–reveal schemes. Secure a feature article on a crypto news site. Announce a cross‑promo with a retro gaming community to develop the first PTX‑powered mini‑game.
January 2026 – Testnet v0.1 launch
  • Technical: launch a public testnet with coin‑flip PTXs; provide documentation and a faucet. Collect feedback on network stability and UX.
  • Marketing: host a “VRF Dice Tournament” on testnet. Run a cross‑chain airdrop campaign (ETH/SOL users sign a message to receive Hemis testnet tokens) to attract new eyes.
February 2026 – Feature expansion and Promotion
  • Technical: extend PTX to support multiple ranges (e.g. 6‑sided dice). Implement house‑edge controls. Integrate PTX creation into the GUI wallet.
  • Marketing: announce the Hemis Winter Dice Festival: weekly competitions, community‑voted mini‑games and prize pools. Publish a whitepaper describing the PTX protocol and open it for external review. Partner with a bridging protocol to show how NFTs can move between Hemis and another chain.
March 2026 – Finalisation & Partnerships
  • Technical: refine consensus implementation, mempool rules and activation logic. Prepare for version‑bits signalling. Perform internal and third‑party security audits.
  • Marketing: secure strategic partnerships with a gaming aggregator or game platform to integrate Hemis PTX games at launch. Produce a high‑quality explainer video comparing Hemis with smart‑contract games. Start a 30‑day countdown on social channels highlighting unique features (e.g. “Day 1: consensus randomness,” “Day 10: NFT games”).
April 2026 – Testnet v1.0 and pre‑launch events
  • Technical: release a stable testnet with full PTX functionality. Finalise the NFT registry module. Start testnet bug bounty.
  • Marketing: host the “Luck Meets Skill” tournament on the testnet with tiered prizes. Provide tutorials on bridging tokens into Hemis and creating simple PTX games. Continue outreach to developers and gaming studios, culminating in a March hackathon announcement.

Once the pre launch phase has been planned and is in progress, attention will move to a marketing push for the official release of PTX, including a large airdrop promotion and new exchange listing.

Cross‑chain & community outreach

Throughout this period, emphasise that Hemis is not competing on general‑purpose smart contracts but on simplicity, speed and fairness. Use targeted airdrops to attract users from ETH, SOL and other chains just before major milestones. Encourage community involvement through meme contests, design bounties and DAO proposals. Leverage partnerships with game studios and NFT marketplaces to expand Hemis’ visibility beyond the core crypto community.
